ORPHANAGES
Our team visited 2 different orphanages in 2 different locations of South Africa. The first one we visited had a wonderful Woman named Anna as the director. She told us about her vision of opening an orphanage after having a dream where she rescued a child. She is dedicated to these children. She has planted a garden, clothed them and provided a home for them. We were able to play with the children, paint a mural, paint their faces, teach a bible story about creation, and bless the volunteers/workers with gifts. Sean shared his story of loss and belief with the children through the bracelets with the story of salvation. It was a beautiful day full of happiness...at an orphanage. So many smiles, laughter, loving touches and a smiling Anna as she showed off the corn she had planted herself to feed the children. The children's beds

WOMEN'S MINISTRY, CHILDREN'S MINISTRY AND YOUTH MINISTRY
The Women of South Africa are beautiful and welcoming. We were able to provide 2 women's ministry events. I love sharing the testimonies of my life and how God has worked through it all! This year I shared about how God has Blessed me with a new brother and sister through the miracle of DNA and how each of us is a miracle! God loves me so much! "What time is it?"....."It's testimony time!" We went to make a difference in their lives and they ended up making a difference in ours. The final night of ministry was a muddy mess. It had rained all day long and we thought no one would come but these ladies came. When it was time to go they picked up our bags and held our hands and guided us to our van in the dark through the mud. They allowed us to walk on the pieces of board and metal that were laid in the mud while they walked beside us holding our hands and showing us the way with their flash lights.....Hmmm I feel a testimony in the making. We were able to take tshirts thanks to the generous donations of the Thomas Weakley ABF!
The children's ministry was an exhausting and fun day. About 250 children attended. The women helped so much with serving food, interpreting and helping. They rolled out a red carpet to put all the food on! It was a wonderful time of sharing bible stories with children.Karin loves to share the story scroll
